Healing

Healing. A simple word that each of us understands on a basic level: to cure, free from some debilitating cause, to be made healthy again. When we were young and we would fall scraping our knee, we tended to the wound cleaning it, disinfecting it, bandaging it so that it may mend and be made healthy once again. This shouldn't sound foreign to any of us, yet so many of us do not apply this same method to our negative experiences, traumas, disappointments and early stages of development that might have been negatively influenced.

Healing in a sense is dealing, dealing with the issues that are at the root of many of the problems we face daily. Healing/Dealing has always been a major focus of mine during readings, and continues to be. Many people seem to think the past affects and shapes the present but they have minimal understanding of the continued affect it has and will have on the future. When we experience a negativity, it carries on with us shaping our decisions keeping us held back or stagnant. It can keep us from trying new things or taking risks we dare only to dream about, yet this needn't and shouldn't be the case, not when healing is available to us all.

Most individuals I encounter suppress the emotions tied to those negative moments either by burying it far down where it's forgotten or by the out of sight. This out of mind concept influences people to think that it's no longer an issue or in the forefront of their thoughts, and wrongly convinces them to believe it has no baring. The universe never forgets and neither will it let us. The universe continues to present us with situations in a multitude of scenarios tying back to our un-dealt with past, until we satisfy the call to heal.

So what does this really mean? Well, to be healed is to be cured from or free from some ailment. In the case capacity I’m referring to, it's to be free from the experiences of shared emotional state. One who has successfully healed has dealt with the pain, anger, sadness that resulted from the original experience. That person then is able to recall a significant negative memory and not be forcefully absorbed back into the emotional state associated with that experience. We all have those moments unique to each of us, an obligatory part of the human experience, that require us to fulfill a commitment to heal our self. The journey that lies ahead requires frontward attention not to be split focused by having to constantly look back over one's shoulder. To achieve this successfully one only needs to look within and follow my 8 guided steps for healing.

planned visit to me in Wellesley. My dad, who has been very unwell,
